Groundhoppers

Since our promotion to the Kershaw Premier League, a step 7 league in the National League System, we have had a number of 'Groundhoppers' visit The Cass Centre to watch matches and purchase match programmes.
We are delighted to welcome visitors from around the country, and have added this page to ensure that they are able to enjoy visiting Cambridge University Press Football Club.
This website provides full details of the club, but we have provided this page as a basic guide to the club and getting to 'The Press'.

Club info
Cambridge University Press FC was founded in 1893. We are the oldest club in the city affiliated to the Cambridgeshire Football Association, but are not the oldest club in the city! That distinction goes to Cambridge University AFC, who were founded sometime in the 1860's (it is in doubt whether CUAFC are the oldest club in the world), but have a direct affiliation to the Football Association. We are older than both Cambridge City FC (1908) and Cambridge United FC (1909)
We play our home games at The Cass Centre, at the CUP headquarters in Shaftesbury Road, Cambridge. The Cass Centre has a tea/ coffee machine for pre-match games, with the licensed bar open from half time. We are the closest football club from Cambridge Railway Station, being just a ten minute walk away. Cambridge is just 50 minutes by train from London Kings Cross. We are also just 1 mile from the City Centre and Bus Station, making us very accessible for visitors. For a map of our location click here. The Cass Centre hosts our changing rooms, and above and a licensed lounge bar, which is open match days from half time. The lounge has Sky TV.
We produce a match day programme for all First Team home games. Programmes cost £1.00. We are considering offering programmes for sale via this website. If you are interested please contact the club.

Match Days
Our First Team fixture list is available here. If you are considering visiting CUPFC, we would suggest that you contact either our club secretary, Simon Byatt or Gary Crick to ensure that the game is on and for the correct kick off time.
